These canvas panels are 6" x 6" x2" and are my submissions to the Marianist Environmental Education Center annual exhibit. The theme for the show this year is "Living Green."
These mixed media pieces are 3 dimensional works which are painted on the sides as well as the top. The vegetable image is a photo transfer using pictures of the vegetables from my husband's garden.
For us, living green means to be able to pick our own fruit and vegetables in our back yard. With a small lot, it's amazing that we can count over 25 vegetables, herbs and fruits to enjoy.
